So what is the right time to start working on the garden (outside versus working on this site!). In chicagoland, we have an unwritten rule that May 15th (we had a light frost 3 days ago). Of course I didn’t follow the rule and I moved some plants. Hopefully, they weren’t too shocked. Is the May 15th rule universal?
I live in a chicago suburb and we have so many rabbits. I have put chicken wire around the fence, covered the wire with brick and railroad ties (at ground level) but I still find my plants are chewed to the ground! Does anyone have any suggestions?
We have 3 dogs and you can imagine how quickly the poop piles up! I bought bio-degradeable baggies (found on www.poopbags.com). I was reviewing a bio-composter that can take animal waste and kitchen waste and was wondering if anyone had bought it. Would love to hear comments!
